We Become What We Behold
We Become What We Behold is a casual point-and-click game all about news cycles, or rather, vicious cycles, and infinite cycles. Capture moments with your camera in this 5-minute game and see how the squares and circles react! How to Play We Become What We BeholdThe game features multiple characters randomly walking about on the screen. The only move you can make is to photograph these characters. When you aim and shoot, the photo you capture appears in the middle of the screen and is displayed on a small TV for all to see. So be careful what you decide to publicize, as this is the gist of the game."We become what we behold. We shape our tools, and then our tools shape us."The game begins with this quote, which encapsulates the essence of the game. Characters to PhotographThere are several characters in the game. Most of the characters at the beginning are comprised of "normal peeps" with square and round heads. You'll find a few stragglers in the group, like a couple in love, a man with a hat, an angry man, and a cricket. Fancy Man With The HatOne of the first characters to enter the "normal peeps" is the man with the hat. It's hard not to take a photo of him since all other photos of normal peeps are less than satisfying regarding what happens when their photos are on display. When you take a photo of the man with the hat, and all the other characters see that photo, every normal peep now wants to wear a hat. Normal Peeps With A HatWhen you photograph a normal peep with a hat, you see the chain reaction in full effect. Suddenly, no one wants to wear a hat anymore. It's become too popular.Couple In LoveWhen you photograph the couple in love, and they are on public display, they will soon be shamed. And you will likely not see many couples in love roam the streets much anymore. After all, "Who tunes in to watch people get along?"Angry PersonThis is where it gets interesting. When you photograph the angry person, if you don't catch them yelling at anyone, you will be urged to "catch 'em while they're doing something." The only thing they do is yell, so that is something you're looking for. Take a photo of them yelling, and the media frenzy begins, aka crazed square attacks. Anger and Fear Multiply Faster Than Love In This GameOnce you capture anger in a photo, it's hard to return to normalcy. The regular peeps will become increasingly afraid of each other, snub each other, and then the squares and circles start turning against each other. When the normal peeps turn red, they begin to hate each other. When this happens, and you photograph it, violence and hatred begin spiraling toward a violent climax.Peculiarity of We Become What We BeholdA small exercise in social critique, this game is unique in many ways.It can be entirely played in five minutes. The developer is an indie personality: Nicky Case, a Canadian game developer and web designer. Stack Fall
Stack Fall is a casual sports game where your goal is to destroy every floor by striking the correct colored blocks. Be precise, as the ball shatters on mismatches. Build up the gauge to unleash fever mode, smashing through all barriers effortlessly. Stay focused, strategize your hits, and master the art of destruction! How to Play Stack Fall Stack Fall is an oddly satisfying one-click game where your objective is to manage and guide a bouncing ball to the bottom of a tower by smashing through layers of a tower of colorful (and not-so-colorful) stacks. But beware: the dark grey platforms are obstacles that can end your run instantly, so don't get too click-happy. At the start, you’ll tap rhythmically to destroy individual colored blocks as the ball bounces steadily. This rhythm is key to building momentum and finding your groove. As you master the timing, you can hold down your tap to unleash the ball’s full potential, smashing through multiple stacks in one thrilling cascade. This is the part that's oddly satisfying and can get quite addictive. It's thrilling to get through multiple layers in just one click; it is so addictive that you actually reach fever mode. Build up enough speed (indicated by a glowing ring around the ball), and you’ll enter stack fever. In this powered-up state, the ball burns through everything in its path, even the dark grey platforms, but that superpower does not last for too long. Achieving this momentum requires precision, focus, and quick reflexes. Stack Fall’s addictive mechanics make each level more challenging as the tower’s color patterns and rotations become increasingly complex. Timing and strategy are everything: one misstep, and it’s game over. More Games Like This Why let the fun end here? Continue the casual game fun with more games from our selection.
